Nim's Island 2008
This is a perfect adventure movie and has a soft spot in my heart because I loved it as a kid!! It’s just a fun story and super engaging, not my favorite just because I’ve seen it SO many times and know exactly what happens every single scene… but still rewatchable to this day. I watched with Dad & Brenda last night before Thanksgiving. Also this is a tear-jerker which always makes it memorable and likable for me.
The animals, the island life, the traveling.. perfect for me Hehe!

ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITE FILMS EVER! I love how true love is portrayed in this movie. I liked the setting; how all the houses and people were perfect, like it was filmed in the 60’s or something. The neighbors made me laugh throughout. The ending made me cry so much. Like how can they leave it just at that??? It reminded me of the Notebook, how the older people at the beginning were actually the people in the story.…
