The Broadway Melody 1929
I actually really liked this one. Second on the list in the watch through of all the best picture films, and jeez this was a breath of fresh air compared to Wings. I found myself rooting for Queenie to marry the sugar daddy until rape was attempted, which brought me back to my senses. Kind of like Queenie.
It’s not amazing, sure. But I found it incredibly entertaining.

Turning Red 2022
I mean I got it, and enjoyed it, but the first half of the movie or so feels so weird. Like what am I supposed to believe? Is she an actual red panda or is it a just a metaphor? Which gets answered as both but the “wonder” doesn’t feel great. It just felt poorly executed.
Also lol at them personally being responsible for having to rebuild the stadium.
