That was peak cinema. Robert Eggers never disappoints. And that score, wow... Beautiful. Performances were amazing from all of the cast.

I felt like the first time I watched Cure, but this felt way too abstract for me. I got the idea and ofcourse I love Kurosawas style and that ending sequence was beautiful. Not much to say about it though.

This one was a really unique experience. Watching it with a room filled with the Director, cast and crew was something else. A unique concept never seen before in Malayalam cinema. Cinematography is very interesting with a color pallete that pays homage to Hong Kong cinema and a lot of other classics. The music direction was unbelievable and carried the movie hard in a lot of sequences. A visual treat for the eyes and ears.

This movie surprised me. Going in I had minimal expectations. It's an excellent folk horror, It takes a lot from "The Wailing", after all the same guy co-writes it. The way the movie is presented to us as this found footage documentary, but for once the quality is good, not the shot on a shitty camera thing. The acting was surprisingly good and carried the movie in some crucial scenes. There is this feeling of dread when the movie ends…
