Bullet Train 2022
This was fun and fast-paced and I love Brad Pitt...however, that's kind of the extent of it. It felt like it was trying to have the creative, Japanese-inspired format of Kill Bill and it fell way, way short. Good airplane watch anyways

The Shape of Water 2017
My number one take-away from this film is that it had a huge amount of heart, much like del Toro's other films. I didn't love every aspect- the pacing in the beginning felt a bit slow to me- but I loved the overall message and cinematography (the blueish/green tinge was absolutely giving Twilight (non-derogatory))
