This film is criminally underrated purely because it is Pixar. I rewatched this recently with a friend (who is the kind of cinephile that would turn their noses up at ‘fun’). To be fair he said he loved it as a kid but the crucial part of it was that he missed the true message of this film.

I went into this dreading it. I actually had a dream the night before where it was so bad I had to walk out. After ten minutes I thought ‘maybe this could be good’. After 1 hour I thought ‘it’s getting worse but I can still watch’. At the end I thought ‘hey what’s so wrong with that’. All in all pleasantly surprised! I made it to the end anyway!!
