  Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace 1999

  ★★★½ Rewatched 29 Jun 2020

  The story was a little confusing at times but I really got into the politics of it by the end. I was surprised with how much i enjoyed Jake Lloyd’s performance as Anakin, and cried my eyes out when he said he hoped he’d be back to free his mother.
  It was paced poorly in some scenes, mainly because of Jar jar, but overall I had a very enjoyable experience.
