Wes forgot to make me care about the characters. It seems to be just a vehicle for little tweaks on his solidified style. I guess I liked that he killed and blew stuff up in a way he hadn’t before. His cinematography, the beautiful art, and architecture are the only things that made me not leave the theater. It would be just as good if I watched it again with the sound off.
