This movie trims all the fat, the fat being backstory and character development. And I’m perfectly fine with that. What we get is basically a non stop maritime war movie that spans an hour and a half. The tense encounters between the Greyhound war ship and enemy submarines are met with equally tense exchanges between the Captain and crew. By the end of the film, I felt like I’ve been through the ringer, and I was pleasantly surprised by this!

Not too many cousin buddy movies out there. I like how different the dynamic is, and nonetheless bringing in a touchy subject of drugs/suicide, etc.

A really uncomfortable look at teen angst. But when I say uncomfortable, I mean in the nicest way. The portrayal of Chris is reflective of my life growing up, feeling people don’t understand me, feeling like I wanted to fight anyone at school, making and losing friends, etc.
I’ve always felt while growing up that my parents put way too much pressure on me about everything in life, and comparing my life…
Sci-fi thriller, political drama, love story, etc. It’s only March, but this might be one of the best films of 2024. Obviously not a perfect film, but I haven’t felt this hyped watching a movie in the theater since Endgame. Also, No Country For Old Men reunion lol! Denis Villeneuve list upcoming.
