This is one of the best films I’ve seen this year and the best sequel ever.

Using COVID to weaken their relationship and not another woman was brilliant. It was realistic and relatable.

The writers really know their characters. How hardworking and resilient Joy is and how carefree and proud Ethan is, and they used those to show vulnerability.

I loved how the words “Joy is gone” and “Joy is back” symbolized the whole journey of the movie.

I read from a tweet that Anne Hathaway’s upcoming movie, Mother’s Instinct, has a huge similarity to this film which is why I gave it a go. True enough, it has the same start and climax as the trailer.
