Fight Club 1999
Great movie overall, but it gets a bit chaotic at points, and there are a few things in the story that don’t quite add up. Acting-wise, Edward Norton totally steals the show, even if I’m not the biggest fan of his narration style. I was hoping it would bring out my inner, primal side, but I guess I hyped it up a bit too much. Still, it’s a solid choice for a rainy Sunday.

The Substance 2024
The movie kicks off with a super interesting plot and gets darker and more twisted as it goes. The gore and intensity totally make sense; nothing feels over-the-top. Honestly, there aren’t too many weak points. The only downside is that at times it gets a bit basic and predictable, like you can kinda tell what’s coming next. And yeah, it’s maybe a little longer than needed, but it’s still worth watching.
