The film is composed of maybe 100 basically identically lengthened beautiful still framed scenes (about 1 minute each). Within those scenes, the story telling is incredible and you can almost understand the characters, the situation the world with each scene just taken in isolation. I have to see it again but I think there are things which could pass as IMovie edits like the fading faces which could be so shit but having the bravery to do them is wonderful. It’s a low culture high culture thing- it’s not afraid to be misinterpreted as a low and on doing that it does things no movie I’ve ever seen does. Having said that there is a real real beauty to the normality of the film…
