  I meannn making a fun Hollywood genre film with an all star cast after winning best picture with a foreign film is dope. Robert Pattinson’s goofy voice is great. Could have done without the overt trump commentary though. felt so hollow and I’m tired man

  I have so much respect for this film. Firstly for being a low budget indie horror that’s killing it at the box office right now. But also as a tour de force of experimental horror.   lol at the disruptive audience members. Really enjoyed this. Study of space suspended in time. Something about the shot of the projectionist barely squeezing past the guy in the corridor makes me emotional. The scene of the two reunited friends bonding over their love for the cinema which happens to be the very thing that reunited them, seemingly in this other life, makes me emotional. The time suspension is released when the doors are locked and all the patrons return to the world. 

  Also this is basically my life closing a 100+ year old theater that’s definitely haunted multiple times a week
