  yk, the plot of this movie would've NEVER, and I mean NEVER happened if the two guys applied *cultural relativism* towards the occult-ish practices done in that remote area. but also, they're really just dumbasses.

  yk, story wise, I really like it because there are no jump scares here. just....tension.... that's really, really thick. but also, I feel like the "reason" why the problem the MC faced in the movie would NEVER happen if she and her friends weren't such culturally insensitive dum-dums in the first place *massive eyeroll*
