Asteroid City 2023
This film was an embodiment of wes andersons imagination, which captured the beautiful screenplay and rigid acting seen in fantastic mr fox and the grand Budapest hotel. What was missing from this film however, was a clear storyline. This film was a drawn out and slow 100 minutes of random scenes, driven by dry humour. It also feels that this spectacular cast was wasted by the directors preference for emotionless and rigid acting.

The Departed 2006
perhaps the most underrated film of all time with one of the strongest line ups of actors ever, a class story great directing. The ending is bittersweet but the movie balances taking itself seriously with hints of comedy, making a very enjoyable 3 hours.
