This film truly has it all. An enthralling plot, which although at times shallow, certainly keeps the viewer on edge at all points. I recall myself at various points throughout the film profoundly sweating, waiting for the next resolution (many of which never came). Mukdeeprom's sophisticated cinematographic style expressed deep feelings of euphoria and sadness, anger and peace at the same time, which speaks volumes about Guadagnino's directorial choices: I recall watching a scene towards the end, and witnessing something…

Call me by your name is like eating home grown apricots at the age of 5, then longing for it. The longing for the apricot is for all that it entails; whilst yes, the pure ecstasy felt while consuming it's sweet, soft yellow flesh leaves a mark in your memory, so do the bumps and the bruises on its skin. While yes, there may have been far more apricots which could be deemed stereotypically "perfect", you remember it for it was yours- yours that you stood a gaze at, picked from the tree, and consumed, which nothing else could ever compare to.

This film shows someone…

Wow. Just wow. DiCaprio's acting in certain scenes was highly reminiscent of Marlon Brando in the godfather, which really helped to give the audience a view into the psychology of the killers. I can't wait to see more of Lily Gladstone, her acting really helped the viewer empathize with the characters plight.
