  More than any other example that I can think of, this changed the way I saw and appreciated movies as a whole when I first saw it in high school. Good to know it still holds up.

  As a side note, if you haven't seen the Q&A with Nolan and Guillermo del Toro on the special features, I would get on it somehow. Wow.

  As much as I hate to say it, for me this was basically The Phantom Menace all over again. Original director of much loved trilogy comes back years later for eagerly anticipated prequel, only or it to be a dull, bloated and lazy failure which comes closest to succeeding when it's rehashing beloved elements of the old trilogy.
