Anora 2024
I wish we had learned more about Anora outside of her encounters with men. Her dialogue was iconic but it felt wrong that the audience's view of her/her true character is only shown through the eyes/emotions of Igor. It felt disjointed that Anora wouldn't put up a fight and call a lawyer for the divorce proceedings - she had nothing to lose - from what we know she didn't have many close connections with family, a house of her own,…

Enjoyed the complex portrayal of addiction, and her journey in finding community and joy. Liked the shift from blue hair (sad) to red hair (less sad), the techno music, and the opportunity to think about how much lambing training Saoirse had for the film and whether they bought prop lambs
