  Nancy Meyers’s “The Intern” is a refreshingly sweet take on workplace comedy, pairing Robert De Niro as a 70-year-old intern with Anne Hathaway as a stressed startup CEO. De Niro’s Ben Whittaker brings a level-headed calm to Hathaway’s Jules Ostin, whose life is consumed by spreadsheets, social media, and the 24/7 demands of running an online fashion empire.

  Their unlikely friendship fuels the heart of the film: a lighthearted clash of old-school etiquette (pocket squares, anyone?) and modern hustle culture…
