Just sweet and lovely this movie. Very beautiful, with great performances from the cast.

Interesting to see the differences between New York and London in the post-war years. The people, the costumes, the way of being and living... I quite often miss those times, even though I never lived them... There's something beautiful and romantic about writing letters, using typewriters, using phones, watching TV or listen to the radio, reading the newspaper.

Good script, good acting, good soundtrack. Black and white shooting. Hitchcock is a master of the craft. Ingrid Bergman and Gregory Peck showing why they were regarded as two of the best doing it.

Amazing cast, amazing performances, amazing film. Best performance from Mark Wahlberg I've ever seen, not the best performance from Jack Nicholson that I've ever seen. The same can be said about the film, not my favourite from Marty, but it's a excellent movie no doubt.

The music, the friendship, the gatherings, the freedom of thought being cut or controlled is such an horrible act. The suffering, the pain, the uncertainty, the doubt that comes from taking away someone who's an husband, a father, a friend…
