this is on a whole other level, a truly unique experience. if you think you are seeing a spin off of the lego movies, you are so wrong. this stands alone, using lego as a vehicle for story telling. a truly unique way to look at filmmaking while still being authentically pharrell.

I've had this on the backburner for a long time, but I'm a completionist and that often puts me on the side of masochism as well.
1 star because I actually really think Sheri Moon Zombie does a really good job acting against other performers and shows she is actually able to perform some quality character development.
Beyond that....
-they clearly added cgi blood to most shots with blood and it is awful

This is peak 80's horror cinema, and it still holds up today. The practical effects are beautifully done, the acting is superb on all levels, and Freddy Krueger is a nightmare to behold.
