First half kinda slow, with some cheesy-looking car scenes. Film grew on me and got quite a bit more interesting. Several scenes contained some really cool/iconic shots. I was surprised by how clear and crisp some of the frames looked. By the end of the movie, the lighting grew a lot more dramatic and I got a lot more immersed.

I was legitimately confused for the first half and loved getting to finally piece everything together at the end + days later. I am perplexed and impressed at the scale of this film. I’ve been reflecting on it all week.
Of course, the practical visual effects are wild. And I’m still not sure how the inverted scenes were filmed.
One of the most powerful moments for me was realizing that Neil and the protagonist were lifelong friends. And watching them…
