  As a huge fan of the series, I left ultimately disappointed. First the good: the performances are on par, the visuals and cinematography are greatly enhanced and that’s pretty much all that’s good to mention. The pacing is quite rushed (Luther’s main obstacle and the introduction of the villain). Compared to previous entries, the film is missing it’s normal eeriness and dark tone. It comes off a bit corny, especially Andy Serkis’ villain. He’s basically London’s Joker to Luther’s downtrodden…
