Burn After Reading 2008
Every coen bros project I’ve seen has been incredibly enjoyable to watch in so many ways and this is no exception. While it isn’t their best it’s still so well written, witty, fun, and strange with a crazy good ensemble cast that kills it.

Obligatory fuck woody Allen but man this movie hits. So many fun and interesting styles used from the subtitles, animations, fourth wall breaks, time jumps, and quick quips; I was constantly engaged and invested in this story, even though alvy is about the most insufferable guy on the planet. The Christopher walken and Jeff goldblum jump scares were fantastic. Diane Keaton did an incredible job. This movie just really hits the realities of relationships in so many ways and it helps me feel ok getting older, going through phases, trying new things, and seeing new people.
