I smiled from start to finish. It’ll be hard for horror fans not to love this.  Very inventive, creepy when it wants to be. Some brilliantly inventive deaths and the best director cameo for some time.

The sins of the father run deeply through this film. Full of atmosphere, great cinematography, score and great comedic timing when it comes to the acting. Not much at fault here.

This film is bananas, in the best way possible.

Classically gothic in the best possible way. The mood of this film is fantastic. The night scenes are practically shot in black and white which really adds to the time period it’s set. Great concept in terms of the ‘monster’ , an original take on it that is somewhat grounded in reality believe it or not. The story has a new take on the classic tale given its POV which makes for a very interesting watch with a lot of subtext.

Some powerhouse performances from all of the main cast. This is an excellent film and a classic to add to the vampire cannon.

With Ad Astra, James Gray and Brad Pitt take you on a journey that deals with themes of abandonment, loneliness, fear, masculinity, sacrifice and a voyage to the furthest reaches of our solar system. It's a deeply personal film more than a Sci-fi epic.

Hoyte van Hoytema has made the moon and planets Avant-Garde with his style of cinematography, it's an old school take on the sci-fi genre harking…

A deeply challenging piece of work, you’ve got to be in the mood for this one. The subject matters on show are really heavy stuff. Question of faith, how human existence has destroyed our planet, is there actually forgiveness for us? Suicide, you name it! Personally I loved it! Some of the best character study I’ve seen in a long time, Ethan Hawke absolutely owns this film. The narration mixed with his underneath the surface performance really hits home.
