  The Tragedy of Macbeth 2021

  Firstly, I don’t know the first thing about Shakespeare apart from that his language is very complex and hard to follow. At least this is what I find anyway. This made watching this film awfully hard and I’m also not quite certain how true this is to the original either. But what I do know is that The Tragedy of Macbeth had two of the best performances I’ve seen in a while from both Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. And the cinematography and directing is absurdly good and of course it is because it’s directed by a fricken Coen brother.
