  Well that escalated quickly. First Miike film since seeing Ichi the Killer over a decade ago. A ride for sure, great blend of well dome action, tension, and comedy, I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who actively dislikes this.

  Fell asleep during this, but still rating on the first hour. Didn't care about anything happening, everything seemed scattered, there wasn't really a flow scenes just seemed to happen one after the other. Gosling and Dunst put on decent enough performances with what they were given, but that's all this really has going for it.

  This was an odd watch. Half the scenes felt like they needed to be longer, the other half felt like the could be cut short or cut all together. Half the movie felt like it was trying to be an artsy, atmospheric psychological horror, the other half felt like it was trying to be just your standard western.
