  Dull, derivative, dry. This flick is JAM PACKED full of try-hard laughs, over the top robot CGI, artificially sad moments, too many cameos to count, and so many catchy songs, the directors tried everything to make this a hit.

  A portrait of a singer songwriter transforming into an artist (then an icon), and an enjoyable one at that. A Complete Unknown does skip a lot of the story but the stellar musical performances make up for the lack of detail in between the key scenes. It’s particularly fascinating to see how contentious his move to electric guitar was to the mid-1960s folk scene, and of course the lead actors should all be up for awards - incredible.
