Sometimes, in order to appreciate genuinely good films, you need to watch something that is aggressively, outrageously, fundamentally, bone-shakingly, spine-tinglingly, earth shatteringly mid.
This is mid. The characters’ motivations are borderline imperceptible, it is neither particularly funny, exciting, suspenseful, or interesting. It’s also not completely shit and is fairly fun. The performances are decent, aside from whoever played Bea because rather than seeming like an aloof outsider she just seemed a bit slow.
