Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
A well executed fan-servicing cameo-filled superhero flick. Some really out of pocket deep cut references and cameos that - as a long time marvel fan - definitely hit.
Is it a return to form for Marvel? Not really. The plot is paper thin and is really just a vessel for jokes and references - but it works here.
My biggest letdown (other than the plot) was Matthew Macfadyen as “generic TVA bad-guy”. I was really looking forward to seeing him in this movie but none of his material really landed.
