Dune 2021
One of my favourite books, this is exactly the kind of adaptation I was after. To me it nails the tone, the vibe and the aesthetics of Herbert's classic. It's a great cast and Villeneuve (one of my favourite directors at this point) is the perfect person to bring it all together. I can't speak to how well it works for someone unfamiliar with the book but for someone who is this was excellent.
