Hostel 2005
It is heavily influenced by the early 2000s. Many may correlate this a body gore horror, but the gore is kept to a decent amount.Torture is shown in the film, but if you have seen the SAW movies then you will be fine. A great satisfaction ending. The entire time you are yelling at the screen and being hype the entire time. A great film, but will not be watching the others. This film stands great on its own.

Hobo with a Shotgun 2011
A very fun and goofy movie. The gore may be over the top for those who are first watching gore, but if this isn’t your first rodeo then the gore will be perfect. The plot is not difficult to follow. Best to watch this movie in a group as it will be fun to see the craziness of this film together.

The House That Jack Built 2018
A perfect representation of a Serial Killer talking about monumental murders. It accurately shows OCD. Couldn’t give it full stars as the ending is a hit and a miss. Can’t decide if I love it or hate it, but won’t argue that it was the perfect ending for this movie. The ending was definitely you sat with after the credits rolled as it has deeper connections to topics brought up throughout the film. The gore was perfect, not too much but not too little.
