  the first half is a hundred perfect tiny anecdotes stacked head to toe. wish the second half felt dramatically less conventional, but. 

  brings to mind jiro taniguchi’s the walking man in finding wonderment in small, inconsequential  moments. a gentle optimism that’s hard to resist.
