I like the character development of the Danish couple way more in this movie, but felt the opposite about the Dutch family - no one could top James McAvoy for me. The ending, although more savage, felt really rushed and also low key annoying. At any point these people could have left?? They also put up literally no fight when about to murdered. Normally I wouldn’t like the remakes more but in this case, I did.

I liked that it wasn’t too spooky, but still kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for when everything would finally start to go wrong. I can’t say how much I hated that fucking bunny though. The lesson learned here is always buy a back up toy, so that if you find yourself at a murderous villa, you can leave it behind with no regrets.
