Léon: The Professional 1994
Definitely one of my favourite films. Aside from the director’s disturbing fantasy towards children shines through slightly in some parts of the movie, I thoroughly enjoyed the plot of the movie. It’s heartwarming to see Léon and Mathilda become close in an environment with lots of violence and darkness around them. I love how Léon cares for Mathilda and wants her to have the best life possible despite the fact that she’s already given up on a good future. The ending was so sad, but it was nice to see Mathilda having a new start.
