  runs slowly partly due to lazy writing. the real story itself told throughout the film is interesting and phenomenal acting helps save the movie but it’s nothing more than just a pretty good flick. and the soundtrack kinda slaps.

  mixed feelings. the first half of the movie was, to be frank, bad. it dragged, the plot was completely nonsensical, and the damn music was so loud i couldn’t hear McConaughey’s mumbling. on the other hand the second half was absolutely outstanding. no words. do wish they spent a bit more time highlighting the situation on Earth. overall a solid 4.5/5. also loved Tars.
