Years back I read Kurkovs "A Matter of Death and Life" and adored the absurdist nature of the story, so going into this film with a very similar plot I knew I was in for a treat. Seeing Jean-Pierre Léaud in a very British setting, specifically walking into the first pub of criminals and declaring his presence as a Frenchman was hilarious. I also loved the random pops of colour within such a dull place.

Working Girls 1986
Dazzling- Lizzie Borden you are a genius. I simply adored the dialogue and interactions between all of these women.
