    Rewatching this movie as an adult, I was surprised to see how well it held up. Performances from the kids are great, Dan Akroyd is very believable as The single father/mortician, and Jamie Lee Curtis is easy to love. Also watching it now, realized that it’s really a movie about death and coming to terms with it as a fact of life.
