Fairly generic cop drama, albeit with a good cast and a pretty thrilling closing sequence. Antoine Fuqua has never really been able to replicate the success that he had with Training Day, but he's a really competent director that's continued to make reliably entertaining films for more than two decades.

Best in Show 2000
Everything Fred Willard said had me dying, this pretty immediately became one of my favorite comedys of the 2000s.

Before Sunset 2004
Well written conversations can be just as exhilarating to watch as dynamic action scenes, and this and its predecessor have some of the best dialogue I've ever heard in a film, I could legitimately watch a four hour cut of Jesse and Celine talking about the meaning of love, the meaning of life, or what they had for breakfast that morning.
I really love Before Sunrise, but I think this one resonates with me a bit more because I'm closer…

To Live and Die in L.A. 1985
Dude inject this shit directly into my veins. The music, the cinematography, the young Willem Dafoe, the phenomenal car chase, the genuinely shocking fate of the main character, all of it is just so good. There's nothing that hits quite like well done 80s noirs, they don't make 'em like this anymore.
