Brightburn 2019
Despite a very small budget of 6M$, Brightburn is a surprisingly fun and original movie. Sure, the scenario is pretty basic and the whole movie itself is a little bit predictable, but it is still very entertaining. I was also positively surprised by the amount of gore scenes blended in this superhero movie and I was really impressed by the creepiness of the young actor who plays Brandon. Not the movie of the decade but still a good take on the whole « what if Superman was a bad guy ? » thing.

The Monkey 2025
Without the shadow of a doubt, one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life. The acting is terrible, the script makes no fucking sense, it’s boring, redundant and not even remotely funny. I spent 15$ for this turd and left 25 min before the end. Insufferable.

Oddity 2024
Both very scary and very elegant, this horror film from Ireland is a real little gem of fright, with its sordid atmosphere, its perfect photography and a very good direction. The story is simple yet effective and all the actors deliver strong performances. Some very good jumpscares spice things up ! I loved it and we definitely need more horror movies like this one.
