  Brilliant writing, amazing small cast. First horror movie in a while where it blew me away and left me completely satisfied. Really really surprised me. It’s a great time for movies right now. A24 gives me hope for the future of cinema.

  In a time where anyone and everyone can and makes mediocre sequels, Gladiator II sets what should be the goal of all filmmakers. When a film is as good as Gladiator I exists it has earned itself a sequel- if its creator wants one. Even then with a bar so high as Gladiator I it seems an impossible task to live up to. And yet Gladiator II between it’s; beautiful cinematography, Oscar worthy performances, poetic writing, stunning vfx, endless badass…
