Prelude: Dog Star Man 1962
The purpose of this has to be to disorient the viewer. It is a silent film, leaving the viewer to only experience the visual effects. There are images of various objects. The images move across the screen very rapidly, which makes it hard for the viewer to take in what they just saw. It is like a visual train of thought where one thing is happening, and then it moves on to something else, and you forget what happened previously and why we are at the point we are at.
