Even as someone who wasn’t fully persuaded by O’Neill’s book, this felt like Morris had genuine disdain for the source material and I’m not really sure why he would choose to adapt it as a documentary?
If you’re gonna take out all the intriguing, brain-leaking-out-of-your-ears government conspiracy stuff (the CIA’s Family Jewels anyone???), at least try and bring a point-of-view that could even attempt to countervail all of those ideas please!
