  As I found myself reminiscing about my own bygone childhood,
  an anniversary of something like 10 to 11 years ago,
  my mind kept on repeating this one Philip K. Dick quote as a sort of consolatory mantra:

  "These were comrades whom I had; there are no better.
  They remain in my mind, and the enemy will never be forgiven.
  The "enemy" was our mistake in playing.
  Let us all play again, in some other way, and let us be happy.
