  The promo for this movie makes it seem like it’s a cute little rom com. It was definitely more com than rom. Which I’m not mad at but not what I wanted in the moment. Nevertheless, Lady Kate Bridgerton… oops I mean Simone Ashley definitely is a great lead in the movie. Her physical comedy was enjoyable. The script was very predictable. If you need a decent turn your brain off movie. This is the one. If you have watched it, did she even go on 5 dates? I got confused lol.

  I’m going to split this review in two parts. As a movie in general. And then as an Oscar contender and eventual winner. 

  I really liked this movie. When I first read the synopsis nothing really interested me. But watching it I had a fun time. The movie keeps you on your toes. There’s always something happening. The pacing of the film really changes at the midpoint. Which did make it a little weaker for me but didn’t ruin it.…

  I’m mad it took me so long to see this movie. But I’m glad I opted to watch it in the theater! Oddly enough I felt the more gross scenes were in the beginning especially the ones with Denis Quaid. I was not expecting how stylized this film was but it ended up being my favorite part. The first act felt like a short film in such a great way that I forgot I was watching an Oscar nominated best…
