Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
Visuals are not earning stars from me on this one because, instead being a benign or even distracting foliage, they’re the root of the film’s problems. Yes. They can be great, detailed, and stunning. They can also be tiresome, repetitive, and chew up screen time, wasting time that would have been better spent, I don’t know, actually telling a story.
Avatar: The Way of Water, like its predecessor, is a bland and derivative movie, but at least the first one…
