Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I’ve loved the discourse about the ending and how the audience is exposed for their voyeurism. No matter how well crafted/respectful the packaging of entertainment will always inherently mock tragedy. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned a ton is that the ending also tackles commercialization/capitalization of tragedy like the osage murders sponsored by lucky strike cigarettes is the modern version of true crime podcasts sponsored by square space. Anyway I loved it. Lilly Gladstone ate in the killers of the flower moon.
