  Why you dressed like a chicken? 

  I used to watch this movie all year round growing up. I’d be especially excited when the carol of the bells started and we get to see Kevin enact his plan as it was  written out in crayon blueprint. Though that Mac and cheese being left uneaten is a tragedy, this movie has so much heart and Christmas spirit that I can’t help but feel Christmas close at hand when I watch this movie. This movie is a Christmas staple.

  Listen. I know this movie is technically good. 

  I know that the direction of this movie is superb, and the plot is well written. 
  I know the cinematography is interesting. I know this is maybe Adam Sandler’s best performance. 
  I know all these things. But I really hated this movie. 

  Perhaps it is the success of the writers, directors, and performances, but I hated every character in this movie. I actively rooted for every character to die, except for maybe the diamond. 
  I get it. I understand these are purposeful decisions, but it does not change my opinion. 
  I hate this movie so much.

  “Is he slow?” 

  This movie is one of my favorites! I always enjoy watching gin the unique way Edgar Wright incorporated music into this action packed Heist movie! Love the performances, specifically Jon Hamm, who, I think, steals the show. Great movie! I highly recommend it!
