'sss pretty good, i think. kind of a weird adaptation, going for a story and characterization that don't quite line up with most people's idea of what the simpsons are. the comedy is super broad compared to the show, and some of the character arcs are a little messy. but for what it is, i think it's an enjoyable watch with some memorable jokes and a lot of cute references for the fans

The Girl from the Other Side 2022
a short and simple, but moving little story. there's a real warmth and tenderness between the two leads, and the story celebrates those small moments of kindness in an otherwise cruel world. i think some may be bothered by the somewhat sedate pacing, but i personally found it really refreshing. besides, who wouldn't want more time to appreciate all this gorgeous animation?

Now before I get into the meat of it, I want to say that this documentary was not well made, which is why I gave it a 6/10. Most of it is incomplete footage of The Thief and the Cobbler spliced in with people talking, the audio mixing is terrible and I had to adjust my volume constantly, and the parts that were focused on sometimes feel a bit arbitrary.
