My first movie review on here, and OH. BOY. There's a lot (derogatory) to say about this one.
I will start by openly acknowledging that hating on Evan Hansen's manipulative and misguided motives throughout the film is the most ubiquitous, lukewarm take. Literally EVERYONE I know who has seen the film makes this point. I wholeheartedly agree on this, and thus don't have much to add in this regard.
