A Hard Day's Night 1964
Thank god for Richard Lester. What better way to capitalize on one of the (at the time) fastest growing bands of the British Invasion and the founders of Beatlemania than to do a fun film with wacky hijinks from the band. Really cool that this movie became the blueprint for music videos that didn’t involve musicians standing there lip syncing and pretending to play their sonfs.
